Milou van Dijk

Milou van Dijk was born in 1992 in Breda (the Netherlands). In 2016 she obtained the diploma of Master in Forensic Psychology (University of Maastricht). During her internship in a prison, she took an interest in the role of prison officers in determining the experiences of prisoners, and in the difficulties of the prison officer job in general. From 2016-2021, Milou worked on her PhD at the Leuven Institute of Criminology, and chose this topic.
