On 1 January 2010, Boom acquired Eleven International Publishing, now named Eleven. Established in 2003 by Selma Hoedt, Eleven International Publishing built a high-quality publishing list in international law and acquired strong market presence. 

Eleven is active in the following areas: law, criminology, political science and public administration. Well-known products from Eleven include the series Studies on Restorative Justice and Essential Air and Space Law and the journals Politics of the Low Countries and The International Journal of Restorative Justice.

Eleven publishes a diverse range of products, such as books, journals and digital products.

Eleven's mission is to continue to build and establish long-term author and customer relationships by offering high quality, sustainable information services.
