We are committed to delivering a high level of quality in all our products. If you do encounter a mistake, please provide us with an opportunity to correct it by reporting it via email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
What happens to my data after I have placed an order?
Your data will be included in our customer database and used to inform you about offers, promotions, and new titles. We adhere to the Netherlands Data Protection Act. Should you not wish to receive this type of information, please contact email@example.com.
In what format are the Eleven ebooks available?
Eleven ebooks are availalbe as EPUB format which can be used on most tablets, ereaders and smartphones. EPUB files can also be opened on your computer by installing one of the following programs:
How do I order an ebook?
Ebooks can be ordered in the same way as hard copies. After payment, you will receive an email with a link with which you can download your ebook. Orders for digital content cannot be cancelled nor can ebooks be returned.
When you order a watermarked eBook, we create a personalized copy of the file, with your name applied visibly but discretely on the document, plus an invisible identifier. These are known as watermarks and associate the file to you, the purchasing customer.

What payment methods do you accept?
Publications which are not in stock and subscriptions can only be paid via a transaction form. Ebooks and licenses can only be paid via iDeal, Visa, Mastercard and PayPal transfer.
When can I expect delivery of my order?
Orders shipped within the Netherlands generally take 1 to 2 business days to arrive. Please note that orders submitted on the weekends and holidays will not ship until the next business day.
International delivery times vary from country to country and depend not only on the distance to the destination, but also on how long it takes the packages to be cleared and released by Customs in the destination country. However, delivery within the European Union generally occurs within approximately 12 business days after shipping and orders in the rest of the world usually arrive within 21 business days. Please note that deliveries sent via regular postal services cannot be traced. We can only provice tracking numbers when an order is shipped via FedEx. If you would like to have your shipment sent via this couriers service, please contact us via firstname.lastname@example.org. If your order is being shipped outside the Netherlands, please be ready to pay your import fees directly to the carrier (FedEx) at the time of delivery to avoid any delivery delays.

What are the shipping costs?
Within the Netherlands the shipping costs are €1,95 per order. Outside of the Netherlands, shipping costs vary, as they are based on package weight and dimensions, and on the buyer's location.
Can I return or exchange my products?
With the exception of ebooks, licenses and subscriptions, you can return products purchased from Boom uitgevers Den Haag without providing a reason within 7 business days and free of charge.

I have received a damaged book. What should I do?
If you have placed your order via www.budh.nl, www.bju.nl, www.boombestuurskunde.nl, www.boomcriminologie.nl or www.elevenpub.com, please contact our administrative department via +31 (0) 52 223 7555. Our colleagues will process your return shipment.
If you have placed your order through a different website or a bookseller, please contact them directly for more information concerning the return procedure.
I have returned my order, when can I expect my refund?
Once we have received your returned products and accepted them, we will transfer the refund as soon as possible. We will make sure that the required amount is issued within 10 business days after reception of the returned product(s).
As a service to lecturers, we make many of our titles available FREE on inspection, provided that you are teaching a course for which they may be recommended as set texts. To request an inspection copy, please send an email to email@example.com and please include some basic details about your course, and please provide your institutional address as the delivery address for the order.

Four weeks after sending the inspection copy, we will contact you by email to ask for your feedback. Your feedback is important to us, whether you choose to adopt or not, as much of the feedback we receive is used in developing and shaping future editions. We will include your contact details in our database in order to inform you about relevant new text books in your field of interest.
